アートフォームとしてのDJを体感する74分──第3弾は世界を魅了し続けるターンテーブル・ウィザード、DJ KRUSHが登場します。クラブ・カルチャーにおいて、DJはひと晩にわたって音楽でその場をコントロールする。その行為は単なる選曲という枠組みを飛び出して、文字通りのアートフォームとして定着しました。

かつてミックスCDには74分という収録時間の制約がありました。そのなかでいかに選曲で物語を作り、自己の表現とするのか。DJがアーティストであることを証明するひとつのメディアとなったその「74分」という時間を、ライヴで再現する貴重な公演です。

LIQUIDROOM presents "I'm Not Just a DJ," a 74-minute live DJ performance series. Following Ken Ishii and Yoshinori Sunahara, the third installment features the world-renowned turntable wizard, DJ KRUSH.

Experience 74 minutes of DJing as an art form. In club culture, a DJ controls the floor with music throughout the night, an act that has evolved into a literal art form. Historically, official mix CDs were constrained by a 74-minute limit. Within that restriction, DJs crafted stories and expressed their identity, proving that a DJ is indeed an artist. This series recreates that "74-minute" experience live in an intimate setting at KATA.
