Join us for In the Zone: A Happening, the signature party of the Asian Avant-Garde Film Festival (AAGFF) at M+. Set against the shimmering backdrop of Victoria Harbour on the Horizon Terrace, this event promises an energetic sensory journey through live performances, avant-garde music, and immersive projections.

Event Highlights:

• Live Music: Hong Kong post-noise legends David Boring headline the night, performing site-specific material from their latest album, Liminal Beings and Their Echoes (2026).
• DJ Sets: Korean sound artist and curator Daham Park (aka DJ YES YES) will guide the crowd through an atmospheric selection of experimental, electronic, and traditional sounds from across Asia.
• Experimental Performances: Experience a pulsating showcase by LifeWielder and a unique fusion of experimental noise and skateboarding by Happy Wheels.
• Visuals & Dance: The night features ambient animation by Zheng Mahler and communal dance performances by students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

This is a less formal, gig-like celebration of the collaborative spirit of avant-garde culture. Access is free for all AAGFF Festival Pass, Day Pass, and ticket holders aged 18 or above, but prior registration is required. The event serves as a final flourish to the festival, celebrating interdisciplinary and cross-cultural lineages in the heart of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
