Location: Academy Stage
Speakers: Anja Schneider, Jan-Eric Scholz
In this workshop, artist Anja Schneider offers a personal insight into her long-standing collaboration with her co-producer Jan-Eric Scholz (Toni Planet).
The focus is on the creative and technical process behind a joint music production: How are ideas born? How are they developed further? And how do artistic vision and technical expertise come together? Anja shares her perspective as a DJ and producer, with a strong emphasis on emotion, club experience, and dramaturgical structure. Jan-Eric highlights the technical side: sound design, arrangement, engineering, and the detailed refinement of a track. The workshop provides a practical look at workflows, alignment processes, and how transparent and fair communication forms the foundation of successful co-productions. It also makes a clear point: that collaboration is not taboo, but an essential part of modern music production — as long as it is based on mutual respect, open exchange, and proper crediting of all contributors.
An open and honest insight into creative processes, teamwork, and the creation of a track — from the first idea to the final mix.
