Hong Kong's first mahjong street art exhibition takes over the iconic steps of Shin Hing Street from May 29 to 31, 2026. Created by local artist Mr. Mahjong (Daniel Wu), this unique showcase transforms the entire street into a pop-up art gallery, celebrating the intersection of traditional culture, contemporary design, and community spirit.

The exhibition features over 15 bespoke art pieces and more than 100 specially designed mahjong tiles inspired by the themes of Shin (善 - kindness) and Hing (慶 - celebration). Each artwork is tailored to the unique character of participating local venues, including world-renowned bars like Coa, cozy cafés, and specialized eateries.

Event Highlights:

• Hidden Installations: Discover 15 art pieces tucked into unassuming corners and shop facades along the street, waiting to be found like Easter eggs.
• Cultural Fusion: Experience mahjong tiles reimagined through the lens of Cantonese slang, music, movies, and local food culture.
• Interactive Elements: Visit the Out of the Brew taproom to participate in a tile-shuffling challenge for a chance to win a craft beer.
