6月20日、東京にてセロニアス・ストークスが「黒人性（Blackness）」を存在と雰囲気の両面から考察するライブパフォーマンスを披露します。身体を器として用い、ストークスは周囲の建築、観客、地理と関わりながら、視認性、記憶、関係性を交渉する一連のジェスチャーを展開します。この作品は、黒人性がどのように空間を占拠し、変容させ、再調整するかという彼の継続的な探求の一環です。

西麻布のTrafficで開催されるこのパフォーマンスは、身体、音、建築が収束する親密な環境の中で繰り広げられます。パフォーマンス終了後は、Yuoto Saito、Hayate、Agnes Kruel、Kwiilipop、The Muscle Brothers、Sorxxnn、JxxncxxtによるDJセットへと移行し、テクノ、ハウス、EDM、実験的エレクトロニクス、ノイズを横断する音のプログラムが深夜まで続きます。

On June 20 in Tokyo, Thelonious Stokes will present a live performance examining Blackness as both presence and atmosphere. Using the body as a vessel, Stokes engages the surrounding architecture, audience, and geography through a series of gestures that negotiate visibility, memory, and relation. The work continues his ongoing investigation into how Blackness occupies, transforms, and recalibrates space.

Presented at Traffic, the performance unfolds within an intimate environment where bodies, sound, and architecture converge. Through movement, duration, and spatial intervention, Stokes invites audiences into an encounter with Blackness as a living force, shaping and reshaping the conditions of perception.

Following the performance, the evening will transition into a program of DJ sets extending the event's exploration of movement, tension, and collective experience through sound. Featuring sets by Yuoto Saito, Hayate, Agnes Kruel, Kwiilipop, The Muscle Brothers, Sorxxnn, and Jxxncxxt, the night's sonic program traverses techno, house, EDM, experimental electronics, and noise.
