The signal is lit and the drums are rolling! Joining more than 35 cities in a global build-up to Wacken Open Air, Hong Kong is about to get its first real taste of the world's biggest metal festival.

Wave Music Studio is where the pit forms on 18 April, when the WOA Official Warm-Up Party makes landfall in Kowloon. This hallowed night is led by three renowned Hong Kong heavy groups:

• Asurababy (阿修羅寶寶) – Progressive metalcore with a mischievous streak. This five-piece “metalcore boy group” blends sharp hooks with breakneck intensity.
• Ink Inferno (墨烙) – Post-hardcore firepower driven by honesty, heart, and a whole lot of grit.
• Qiu Hong (秋紅) – Hong Kong metal's returning titans. Newly revived with a refreshed lineup, they're back to claim their place at the helm of the city's heavy scene.

Get ready to raise your horns in unison with thousands of other metal fans around the world and unite in support of heavy music while paving the way for Wacken Open Air 2026.
