RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.0 THE TEAM COMPOSITION
1.1 A Team may have up to 6 players
1.2 A Team may have up to 1 Captain/Coach
1.3 The Tournament Fact Sheets and Score Cards shall be provided for each registered Team.

2.0 THE GAMES
2.1 SWISS ROUNDS : 5 rounds of Swiss
2.11 All head-to-head matches must be played
2.2 MAIN DRAW: Knock-out System
2.21 The winners between team-to-team matches will advance to their next rounds
2.22 Round-of-16, Quarter-final: Bo5
2.23 Semi-final, Final: Bo7

3.0 ORDER-OF-PLAY: The Team Captains must submit a roster of players in respective order for each round following the order-of-play, below:
3.1 Match 1: Team X (Player 1) vs. Team Y (Player 1)
3.2 Match 2: Team X (Player 2) vs. Team Y (Player 2)
3.3 Match 3: Team X (Player 3) vs. Team Y (Player 3)
3.4 Match 4: Team X (Player 4) vs. Team Y (Player 4)
3.5 Match 5: Team X (Player 5) vs. Team Y (Player 5)

4.0 DEFAULT TIME
4.1 All matches shall be announced in the venue
4.11 Announcement No. 1: Match on Stadium No. ( _ ), Teams X and Y, please get ready
4.12 Announcement No. 2: Teams X and Y, please enter the Game Zone.
4.2 Grace Period
4.21 All teams or representatives who are called to play must be in the Game Zone within 3 minutes from the Announcement No. 2 (see 4.12)
4.22 Points shall be awarded to the opposing teams of the defaulted teams or representatives

5.0 WALK-OVER WIN
5.1 Win by default
5.2 Win from Unsportsmanlike Conduct

6.0 COACHING
6.1 No other than the Team Captains is allowed to coach the Active Player before the players show their beys, except when the Team Captains are expected to play.
6.2 The Team Captains may assign a teammate to assist in coaching when they are scheduled to play.
6.3 The Team Captains must position themselves beside the Match Judges assigned in their games during play.
6.4 Only the TEAM CAPTAINS and ACTIVE PLAYERS are allowed in the playing area.

7.0 SANCTION
7.1 UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT
7.1 1st Offense: Warning
7.2 2nd Offense: Red Card
7.3 3rd Offense: Team Disqualification with the full score be awarded to their opposing teams from the time of the disqualification.
7.2 AGE
7.21 All members of the team must be 14 years old or above
7.22 All 13 years old or below are not qualified to play in this event. They will have their own tournaments in the future.

8.0 WAIVER AND QUITCLAIM

WAIVER, QUITCLAIM AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of participating in BBX ZL 5vs5 Tournament, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates and agrees that:

I/We knowingly and freely assume all such risks both known and unknown and have to assume full responsibility for our player’s participation.

I/We guarantee that our team is physically fit to undergo this activities and recognizes the physical aspects associated with the BBX ZL 5vs5 Tournament.

I/We willingly agreed to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for our participation and that the organizers own the images and videos of participants taken from this event and are authorized to use in any publicity and promotional relating to the event.

I/We willingly agreed that Zachary Leon, its Organising Team, and its venues will not be held liable of any damages/loss to personal property.

In consideration for participation and acceptance for the entry to this event, I shall agree that and do hereby waive and forever release all rights to claim or damage by on or behalf the registrant’s actions against Zachary Leon, Organising Committee, Venues and other persons handling the related event.

Registration fee is non- refundable and non-transferrable.
